The success of the Greeley Irish Festival has been overwhelming. Since 2007, it has been a regional favorite event continuing to draw more and more people each year at this one day event. Our 2024 line up promises to be a memorable day of great entertainment. Offering the most unique line up of Irish music in the world! You’ll hear from Celtic Rock to Traditional and everything in between.
The festival will take place rain or shine.
The family-friendly festival is alive with the sounds and sights of Ireland with entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy and explore. Each year, the festival is kicked off with the Family Clan Parade where family sponsors carry their Clan flag with their family crest in the parade led by the Omaha Pipers. Our open air and dance stages outside provide “Non-Stop” live Irish entertainment all day long featuring traditional and contemporary Irish entertainers and the crowd favorite, Irish step dance performances. Finishing the evening with our featured performer.
After dark on the Dance stage, you will not want to miss our video presentation, “Tribute to the Deceased”.
Celebrating Greeley’s founding heritage every year with a big Irish party
Get ready to see some of the best names in Irish and Celtic music, performing on our outdoor stage with an amazing sound system, lighting and large video screen. This year's featured performances will entertain you from morning into the late evening with traditional Irish folk music to stomping Celtic Rock.
Activities for all Ages
The activities continue inside for all ages. Our Culture Center will entertain and educate guests about our rich Irish heritage, with a series of performers, speakers, and table displays that teach guests about the history and struggles of the Irish and Irish-American people. Don’t miss an opportunity to learn to play Celtic instruments or participate in Irish step dancing lessons.
Compete against your friends in the annual Irish Bean Bag Toss Tournament. Inside the school, you can drop off the kids at the “Kids Irish Arts & Crafts Area” which offers a variety of arts and crafts activities and there are “Face Painters” where you can get a FREE face painting! Stick around and listen to the music for kids that everyone will enjoy.
